Dr. George M. Langlois is a founding Principal of Organizational Strategies, Inc., a Chicago-based management consulting firm. Organizational Strategies, Inc. helps organizations strategically align all resources, practices and processes toward achieving corporate objectives. George's typical client engagements include strategic planning, employee opinion surveys, development of performance management systems and executive assessment and coaching. Prior to starting Organizational Strategies, Inc, George served for seven years as president of a nation-wide management consulting firm dedicated to helping companies improve bottom-line profits by effectively deploying their human resources. Some engagements included developing and validating personnel selection processes for existing and/or new jobs, advising organizations on the proper use of personnel tests, addressing the organizational change elements of business reengineering initiatives, developing and implementing survey programs, and realigning organizational structures and executive responsibilities to improve operational results. George's consulting clients have included national retail organizations, large utilities, municipal governments, trade associations, food manufacturers, healthcare systems and scientific equipment manufacturers. His areas of expertise include executive assessment and coaching, personnel testing and selection, corporate objective setting, strategy development, performance management systems and organizational assessment and design. George received his doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. His professional credits include publishing and presenting papers on Personnel Selection, Management Assessment Centers and Retaining and Motivating Employees in Difficult Times. He has reviewed articles on personnel selection for potential publication in professional journals. George is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, The Human Resource Planning Society, and the Greater Chicago Area Association of Industrial/Organizational Psychologists. He is an honored member of Who's Who Worldwide and is listed in the Who's Who Registry of Global Business Leaders. George has been a speaker at national and local conferences and has conducted many workshops and seminars.
