Dr. Daniel V. Lezotte is a founding Principal of Organizational Strategies, Inc., a Chicago-based management consulting firm. Dan's typical client engagements include strategic planning, executive team enhancement, performance management, selection and strategic compensation systems, employee surveys and executive assessment and development. His consulting clients have included insurance and financial services companies, national retailers, manufacturing companies, utilities, government agencies and hospitals.

Prior to starting Organizational Strategies, Inc., Dan spent six years as Vice President of a national management consulting firm. In addition to his involvement in managing and expanding this firm, he consulted on several large-scale organizational change initiatives involving culture shifts and the strategic alignment of human resources programs. Dan also spent six years as a Human Resources Officer with a large, international financial services company, where he was responsible for starting up an internal consulting organization.

Dan received his doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is currently on the faculty of the American Compensation Association and teaches courses on group/team incentive plan design. Dan also serves on the board of directors of Century Place Development Corporation, a not-for-profit organization that develops affordable housing for the homeless and disadvantaged. In addition, he is the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee for CPCD's parent organization, Heartland Alliance.

Dan's professional credits include publishing and presenting papers and workshops in the areas of strategic planning, compensation, organizational surveys, personnel testing and selection and the effects of shift work on health and performance. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, American Compensation Association, American Management Association and the Human Resources Planning Society.
